My Journey of Hope and Healing

Welcome to My Hippy Dippy Healing Journey — a space where I share my personal experiences, reflections, and learnings from navigating life after being diagnosed with terminal stage 4 triple negative breast cancer. This journey has been shaped by faith, hope, love, and a wide range of approaches that supported my overall wellbeing.

Here, I share videos, vlog posts, photos, and insights from my own lived experience — not to instruct or advise, but to offer connection, encouragement, and hope. This is simply my life, my story, and the path that unfolded for me.

I am not a medical doctor, and I am not recommending any treatment or therapy. Everything I share comes from my personal journey — from death to life — and the perspectives, wisdom, and understanding I gained along the way.

Although I would like to share my experience in greater detail, Australian TGA guidelines restrict the level of information I can provide. As a result, I present my story in a reflective, non‑directive format that centres on my personal journey rather than describing any specific approaches.

If my story brings comfort, inspiration, or a sense of companionship to someone walking their own difficult road, then this space has served its purpose.

My turning point - to seek a new path of hope and healing

When I was in hospital in November 2023, I was given a very limited outlook and understood from the medical team that there were no further conventional treatment options available for me at that time. It was an overwhelming and confronting period, and I remember feeling as though my situation was rapidly declining.

During this time, I was told that the difficulties I was experiencing might have been related to the effects of previous treatments, which added to my fear and confusion. Yet, despite everything, my scan results showed No Evidence of Active Disease (NEAD). Hearing those words — that there was no evidence of active cancer — was both unexpected and deeply emotional.

Faced with this combination of uncertainty and relief, I felt drawn to explore different ways of supporting my wellbeing. I often describe this moment as the point where I leaned fully into a more holistic, natural, and spiritually grounded approach to caring for myself — my own “hippy dippy” path — as a way of nurturing my body, mind, and spirit during a very vulnerable time. This was simply the direction that felt was right for me.
