My chemotherapy regimen in 2023, consisted of Paclitaxel administered on a three‑weeks‑on, one‑week‑off schedule. This was accompanied by weekly blood tests to monitor treatment tolerance and three‑monthly PET/CT scans for disease assessment.
Immunotherapy was administered every three weeks. I received four doses of immunotherapy in 2023 before it was discontinued due to treatment‑related side effects.
Following the cessation of chemotherapy in November 2023, I continued to undergo port‑a‑cath flushes every four weeks. This routine maintenance continued until July 2025, when the port‑a‑cath was removed....
I had weekly blood tests before each chemotherapy session and continued with frequent testing through much of 2024 to help my medical team monitor my liver function. I haven’t listed these individually because there were simply too many to record.
